Dear Colleagues,

In 2021 The annual Australasian Experimental Psychology Conference (EPC) will come to you!

We are now accepting abstract submissions and attendance fees

https://exp.psy.uq.edu.au/epc2021/

This meeting will be a Hybrid in person / online EPC meeting, from April 9 to 11, 2021. The program will consist entirely of talks, preferably presented live to an audience and online via zoom, or exclusively online via zoom.

The Ross Day Plenary lecture will be presented by Professor Paul Dux ‘The multi-tasking Brain’

The main conference site will be The University of Queensland, St. Lucia Campus (Brisbane). If the situation permits, people who can commute to Brisbane are encouraged to attend sessions in person. Here we will host talk streams, with a local moderator orchestrating questions after each talk – by inviting questions from the floor and posing questions to speakers that have been raised by remote participants via the sessions’ zoom chat. There are NO ABSTRACT SUBMISSION OR REGISTRATION FEES but for those who can attend the main conference site (Brisbane) in person – there is a small attendance fee to cover catering costs ($126).

For participants who are interstate, and in New Zealand, we have arranged for Satellite sites in each major city. At these, talks can be presented in front of a live local audience, and feature in one of the conference talk streams via zoom. If you cannot attend either the main conference or a satellite site, you can present at a scheduled time into the programme via zoom.

To submit an abstract for EPC (maximum 250 words), please fill in the template available from the conference website

and e-mail it to:

By Friday February 26, 2021

We are still planning a joint meeting with the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society and The Australian Organization for Human Brain mapping in Brisbane 2021, but due to continued COVID-19 related uncertainty, we have decided to delay that meeting until November 2021 – by which time we hope it will be possible for us all to make plans to attend that conference in person with confidence.

Please monitor the Conference Website for further announcements!
